Rock On Ivy Over-raced during the early stages. Laid in under pressure in the home straight resulting in App. J Woodhouse having to stop riding and straighten approaching the 100m. Gold Coast 12/11/2016
Lever Lever Rider questioned - stated whilst he had a soft lead on LEVER LEVER the horse was off the bit and under pressure prior to home turn and in his opinion would be better suited when ridden with cover. Vetted - no abnormalities - swab sample taken. Eagle Farm 29/10/2016

Inside Job Rider T Clark stated that, after being briefly tightened near the 500m, his mount hung out for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Rosehill Gardens 20/02/2016
Lucky Meteor Approaching the winning post became awkwardly placed on the heels of Painte (App. N. Heywood), which shifted in under pressure and consequently Lucky Meteor was unable to be ridden out to the finish of the race. Canterbury Park 05/11/2016

Bernitchy When questioned regarding the tactics adopted, jockey R. Fradd stated that he had no specific instructions other than to have the gelding travelling comfortably. Jockey Fradd added that he envisioned he would be racing in the first half of the field however once ANNIHILATION had improved forward he was content with the tempo that was being set and therefore elected to race further back than anticipated with cover. Rudy Forced wider by HARADA BAY passing the 600m, which shifted out to improve. Sunshine Coast 16/11/2016
Volkhere Hampered at the start and lost ground. Jockey J. Lloyd reported that his mount was unable to muster early speed despite his urgings, adding that the horse did not travel comfortably at any stage, however finished the race off moderately. Sunshine Coast 16/11/2016
Bewhatyouwannabe Approaching 200m attempted to improve to the outside of heels and made contact with another runner on a number of occasions. Taken in near the 100m when improving to the inside of HARADA BAY and as a result made contact with another runner. Doomben 09/07/2016
Mr Epic Raced keenly 1200m when being restrained to settle behind the leaders. R q’d rider tactics @ 600m remained behind Longeron; allowed Nozomi to stride forward and pocket. R-intention to come to outside @ 500m but as race unfolded Nozomi had taken that advantage mount was then left a little flat footed 400m. Caulfield 24/09/2016
Lordag As G. Colless was delayed in traffic, A. Denby was substituted as the rider of the horse. Held up over the final stages. Jockey A. Denby reported that she had been instructed to ride the horse in a more forward position, however after being caught wide in the early stages, elected to steady to obtain a position closer to the fence. Prince Manitou When questioned re riding, he stated that as the gelding had proved tractable in recent trials. When able to lead and dictate in the early stages of today's event, whilst SWEET SERENDIPITY held a margin on his mount, he endeavoured to hold his position inside that runner in the best interest of his mount, bearing in mind his mount's history of hanging out in its races. He added that on straightening his mount was immediately on one rein and commenced to hang out and as a result could not be fully tested in the run to the finish. Beaumont Newcastle 17/09/2016

Mr Jetset A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be sore in both front legs. Trainer's representative was advised that a veterinary clearance will be required prior to the gelding racing again Eagle Farm 29/10/2016

Mister Booze Hampered when bumped heavily by ANOTHER WHISKEY at the start. When questioned regarding the horse’s disappointing performance, jockey D. Browne said the horse could not muster speed in the early stages and raced at the rear of the field and in his view will be better suited over distances longer than today’s race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the off hind leg and the near fore bumper. Doomben 12/11/2016
Zaha's Ace When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, apprentice N. Keal reported that the mare, which was have its first start after a spell, did not travel strongly at any stage and in his opinion would derive a fitness benefit from the event. Trainer T. Sears advised stewards that in his opinion the mare was disadvantaged by the handicap weight of 64kg, and it would be his intention to continue with mare’s current preparation. Stanthorpe 15/10/2016

Bushy Rider questioned re performance - stated after being held up behind leaders approaching the turn was unable to improve position until near 300m.
