Cambooya Rock A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying a poor post-race recovery and a nasal discharge. Trainer later advised a scope subsequent to the event revealed a throat infection for which the horse would now undergo treatment. Gold Coast 20/08/2016

Here Comes Holly Steadied from heels shortly after the start. Warra 02/07/2016
Jet Spurring Rider questioned re performance. He said he was instructed to ride positively out of the gates and take up a forward position, however after travelling a short distance, he was unable to improve to a forward position as runners to his outside had crossed and he had to race midfield with cover. He said the filly raced greenly throughout and may not have been comfortable on the soft track conditions and that it may have got its tongue over the bit and choked down, and he had recommended to connections to experiment with the addition of a tongue tie for its next start. Henagan steadied from heels near 1000m-bumped approaching 800m-Rdr reported although suffering some slight interference early, horse was disappointing & failed to respond to riding in straight-added horse may have come to end of prep-vet no abs-Tnr said continue prep over shorter distances & no issues Bairnsdale 06/08/2016

Ruffo Brushed with another runner for a short distance near the 1000m. Raced wide throughout. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, apprentice L. Tilley advised that the gelding, which was stepping up in distance from 900m, raced too keenly in the early stages and failed to respond to his riding from the 600m. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Dalby 03/09/2016

Vulcanic Dragon Raced wide throughout. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, trainer M. Lakey reported that the gelding’s last start win at Beaudesert was in a weaker race, and added that the gelding was disadvantaged by the wide barrier and shorter distance of today’s event. Tin's Pocket Hampered when tightened for room shortly after the start. Had to be restrained when racing close to the heels of NO EQUAL near the 900m and then raced ungenerously for some distance thereafter. Gatton 06/09/2016

Dina's Dragon Hung out leaving the home straight on the first occasion. Dalby 03/09/2016
Qabla Stewards questioned apprentice M. Murphy regarding his riding between the 900m and 450m when it appeared he lost ground away from RISING LUCK during that section of the race and appeared to show no vigour in order to hold his position. Apprentice Murphy indicated he was trying to hold the horse up for a final sprint home however the horse failed to respond when pressured from the 450m. Stewards advised apprentice Murphy that given he had commenced to lose ground he would have been expected to pressure the horse earlier than he did, and were of the view he had erred. However given that the Sunshine Coast 11/09/2016
Splendid Stryker Began very awkwardly and was restrained to a rearward position closer to the rail. Ipswich 02/09/2016

Brumby Jack Brushed the running rail and became unbalanced when rounding the home turn. Dalby 19/07/2016
Our Rock O'reilly Stewards questioned B. Panya regarding the tactics adopted and the performance of the horse. She indicated that after riding the horse forward, as is the horse’s racing pattern, she initially intended settling to the outside of DANDOG, however when her mount raced keenly she elected to allow the horse to stride passing the 1000m in an attempt to cross that horse, however DANDOG continued to hold its position to the inside, and whilst her mount did settle somewhat when approaching the 600m, the gelding was immediately under pressure passing the 400m and was disappointing in the run to the line. Amber Lights Held up from a point leaving the 500m until entering the home straight. After being bumped by PITBULL approaching the 200m, shifted out and bumped CASINO CENTURY. Inclined to lay out under pressure over the concluding stages. Gatton 06/09/2016

Sun Holiday Slow to begin. J. Orman reported that his mount could not muster early speed and that he had to pressure the horse during the early and middle stages and finished the race off well. He added that in his opinion the horse will appreciate a step up in distance. Sunshine Coast 04/09/2016
Flight to Glory Began awkwardly, shifted in and made heavy contact with YARRANDI. Nanango 17/09/2016
