When questioned by Stewards regarding the filly’s improved performance, Trainer Mr. B. Andrew advised that at its most recent start at Gatton the horse was forced to race wide which he felt was to its detriment. He added that as the filly has a history of hitting itself, corrective shoeing was undertaken on the filly by way of the addition of tips, which Mr. Andrew also felt was a contributing factor to the filly’s improved performance. Stewards noted the explanation.
