Tired over the final 600m to be beaten a considerable distance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying clinical signs of cardiac arrythmia. Connections were advised a veterinary clearance inclusive of an ECG report would be required prior to the gelding trialling to the satisfaction of stewards before being permitted to race again.

He added that Tuscante was one paced and appreciated having an uninterrupted run, and for this reason he elected to race three wide without cover thereafter.
