Taplin advised at the horses most recent start at Doomben on the 22nd of November 2023, IRIDESSA (NZ) was caught wide in the early stages of the event and as a result was obliged to race in a more forward position which is in contrast to its usual racing pattern. Ms Taplin added the horse had worked well leading into today’s event and the stable was confident of a forward showing. Stewards noted the explanation.
