Jockey stated that despite being continually hampered and carried wider between the 300m and 200m, his mount sprinted fairly on straightening. Jockey stated his mount felt to peak on its run approaching the 100m and weakened to the line from this point. Jockey stated the step up to 1300m, second up, under a 61kg impost appears to have told on his mount over the concluding stages.
