Sir Plucka Jockey G Goold reported that the gelding raced greenly throughout and may benefit from the addition of blinkers. Gold Coast 22/10/2016
Sontoro A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer N. Harrison was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s poor performance. Sunshine Coast 09/10/2016
Sportstar Samuel Slow to begin. Tightened for room between runners shortly after the start. When questioned regarding the performance, jockey J. Lloyd stated that as per its normal pattern the gelding raced in a rearward position. He added he was instructed to improve into the race passing the 600m or 700m as the horse is one paced, however it failed to respond to his riding, and subsequently he advised connections the horse would be better suited to larger tracks over more distance than that of today's event. Occhilupo Raced wide throughout. When questioned as to the horse's below market expectation performance, jockey B. Stewart advised that he was forced to race wide throughout the event, however despite this he expected, when he placed the colt under pressure, it would respond to his riding better than it did today. Trainer B. Currie agreed with jockey Stewart's assessment and undertook to advise stewards if anything becomes apparent in the days following the event which may have had an effect on the performance. Free Press When being restrained near the 800m became unbalanced and made contact with the running rail, losing ground as a result. Restrained from heels approaching the 500m and was then held up for clear running for a short distance near the 300m. Sunshine Coast 16/10/2016
More Than Tears When questioned as to the tactics adopted, Jockey J Missen stated that from the awkward barrier today the intention was to obtain cover towards the rear of the field as the filly had over-raced when ridden forward at its first 2 race starts. Jockey Missen noted that the filly had raced in a similar pattern at its last start and today travelled comfortably at the rear of the field before shifting wider upon straightening to finish the race off well. Just Truckin' Shifted in near the 1000m when overracing and made heavy contact with LIPSTICK LOVER, which became unbalanced. JUST TRUCKIN’ continued to overrace and had to be checked from heels near the 900m. Had to be checked severely from heels passing the 800m. Doomben 12/10/2016

Misauthority A post race veterinary examination of the mare, which was beaten 25 lengths, did not reveal any abnormalities. Uh Oh Held up over concluding stages. Questioned re performance - rider state able to obtain intended position behind the leader with cover however failed to respond when placed under pressure passing 500m and proved disappointing. Rider stated gelding failed to travel comfortably in today's soft conditions. Trainer of similar opinion and indicated gelding would now be sent for a spell. Post race vet - no abnormalities. Mishani Scout Upon returning to scale, App. B Ainsworth reported that her intention was to obtain a position closer to the speed, however, the gelding was slow to muster speed in the early stages despite her efforts and as a consequence settled further back in the field than anticipated. App. Ainsworth noted that the gelding was back in distance today and subsequently raced dour. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities at the time of examination.
