Questioned re performance L Rolls explained began well and elected to ease filly and obtain a position close to the rail to avoid being caught wide without cover as he believed filly had insufficient speed to lead. Mount travelled fairly throughout and passing the 400m when placed under pressure responded only one paced. L Rolls said that in his opinion the filly, which was back in distance, is a dower type and will improve as it matures. Trainer Mr B Hill concurred with the jockey’s comments advised filly would be spelled.

Questioned re performance - App Ainsworth stated intended to lead however was unable to muster sufficient speed and consequently settled in a handy position with cover. Mount failed to sprint strongly, off the back of a moderate tempo in middle stages, in the straight. Ms Ainsworth stated that her mount does not have a strong sprint but prefers to travel at a genuine tempo in front. Post race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.
