Questioned re performance jockey stated her mount was third up after a wind operation and its past two starts had pleased. In her opinion horse races best when able to lead uncontested, setting its own tempo. Today her mount travelled keenly inside another runner resulting in her having to restrain it in an effort to maintain a reasonable tempo. Ms Harrison stated this was to her mounts detriment over the latter stages of the event where it weakened noticeably. Post race vet did not reveal any abnormality.

A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse was lame in the off fore fetlock. Trainer H. Page was advised that she must provide a veterinary clearance for the horse prior to its next race start

When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance, stable representative Ms Dennett explained that the horse was slow to begin at its most recent start and for this reason today they applied winkers for the first time which in her view was beneficial to the performance. She further added that BUNNY BAD GIRL jumped well and was able to lead and dictate the tempo which suited the filly as it had raced well in the past when able to lead.

Trainer noted gelding had gone 5 weeks since last start and may take a fitness benefit from today and should it prove disappointing at next start intention would be to spell. Vetted - slow post race recovery.
