Began awkwardly, resulting in the rider becoming unbalanced for a number of strides. Unable to be fully tested over the final 100m when held up for clear running. When quest re riding of the mare approaching and rounding the home turn apprentice stated her mount began awkwardly and settled at the rear of the field. Rider stated appreciating her position in the field & the cutaway rail, she elected to stay close to rail & take runs as they presented down the straight. Rider stated passing 100m became held up for clear running, when runners shifted in advance and was unable to fully test mount.
