Began awkwardly and shifted in causing rider J Hoopert to become unbalanced and then dislodged. The riderless gelding then shifted in further making heavy contact with SHOULDA TO SHOULDA, before falling over the inside running rail a few strides later. Post-race vet examination revealed the gelding to have lacerations to its body and head trauma causing blood loss from one nostril. Trainer Mr B Murray was advised that the gelding would be barred from racing until a veterinary certificate of soundness is produced and the gelding perform in one official barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewa
