She said that after obtaining the lead her mount commenced to race keenly set and she was aware her mount was setting strong sectionals and did make some attempts to relieve the tempo however her mount continued to over race. Trainer confirmed her instructions. Whilst acknowledging the racing manners of the gelding, Stewards advised rdr that in the future she should make greater effort to try to relieve the tempo through the middle stage.

She added the mare raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 500m when being restrained, shifted out and clipped heels and blundered, and a short distance later dipped when being restrained. She added that she was unable to ride her mount out for the entire home straight when it hung in, due her saddle having shifted forward.
