- When leaving the mounting yard to perform a preliminary run, dislodged the rider and ran off for some distance prior to being caught by the attendants. A pre-race veterinary examination was undertaken with no abnormalities being detected. Stood flat footed at the start and was urged by the rider to begin. Raced extremely wide for the majority of the event.

After viewing footage, Stewards were of the view, Rdr had erred when caught wide in the middle stages, did not attempt to restrain to obtain cover near the 900m. Tnr indicated would remove blks and consider utilising a stronger Rdr.
