Standford  When questioned apprentice explained that after beginning only fairly she rode her mount in a rearward position where it travelled comfortably throughout then shortly after straightening she attempted to manoeuvre her mount to the outside in an attempt to obtain clear running and comply with her instructions. However near the 100m was disappointed. Trainer confirmed the instruction issued and expressed satisfaction with the ride. Stewards advised apprentice that shortly after straightening she should have remained racing closer to the fence when there was an opportunity to do so.  Innisfail  14/11/2015

Dash of Black  When questioned regarding the improved performance of the gelding trainer said that in his opinion the gelding appreciated the firmer track surface and being able to dictate terms in front.  Innisfail  14/11/2015

Rochallor  Passing the 1400m had to be steadied when momentarily tightened for room. When questioned regarding the performance, Jockey explained that he had been instructed to ride the gelding in a forward position, in accordance with its established race pattern. He said that when the pace quickened he was only able to maintain a midfield position, where his mount travelled fairly throughout, however when placed under pressure in the straight failed to respond to his urgings and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had sustained lacerations to both hind legs.  Townsville  21/11/2015 
Venceremos  Rounding the home turn had to be steadied when crowded for room. Raced in restricted room in the early part of the home straight and had to be shifted to the outside to obtain clear running.  Townsville  21/11/2015
