Vouch for Me Over-raced during the early stages. When questioned, Jockey L Rolls could offer no explanation for today’s disappointing performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities at the time of examination. Gold Coast 22/04/2017
Wicked Heights Tightened for room at the start and had to be steadied, losing ground. Raced wide without cover. Sunshine Coast 04/01/2017
Kick 'n' Tel The start was delayed when the mare proved difficult to load. Jockey L Cheshire reported at scale that she noticed that its tongue was over the bit and that she recommended to connections to experiment with a tongue tie or a tongue control bit before the mare’s next start. She added further that this may have contributed to the mare not running out a strong 1400m today. Trainer E Forrester reported to Stewards that the mare had returned after the race with a laceration to the near side hip and also with its tongue over the bit. Gold Coast 18/02/2017

Galiano Overraced in the early stages. Gold Coast 15/04/2017
Lakota Sioux Approaching the 1000m was forced wider on the track by another runner and raced wide from that point onwards. Ipswich 19/04/2017
Qabla Near 1500m had to be steadied when tightened by WALTZ IN FLIGHT and lost ground. Trainer questioned re seemingly improved performance -stated gelding performed poorly last start after suffering heavy interference near 500m. Noted pleased by gelding’s run 2 starts ago when only beaten 3.3 lengths over the unsuitable distance of 1350m. Added gelding generally performed well at Gold Coast over 1800m and as such hopeful of a forward showing today. Gold Coast 08/04/2017

Zilitor A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly had sustained a laceration to the inside of the off hind heel consistent with being galloped on. Ipswich 20/01/2017

Speed Gonzales Shifted in whilst pulling hard approaching the 1400m and made heavy contact with SCARLET POET. Had to be checked approaching the winning post when bumped by SURFACE TENSION, which was taken out by TONI MAY. Doomben 15/04/2017
Spirit of Kiowa Trainer R. Lipp was questioned as to the improved performance today of SPIRIT OF KIOWA as compared with its performance at Doomben on 1 April. He stated that on that occasion the mare failed to handle the heavy track conditions. Doomben 15/04/2017
Rock Vantage Shifted out and bumped another runner near the 700m. Doomben 15/04/2017
War Baby After beginning from a wide gate had to be restrained to take up a position at the rear of the field. Ipswich 26/04/2017
Outstrip Jockey R. McMahon advised that early in the event he was brushed by another runner and when he attempted to place pressure on his mount near the 300m his foot slipped from his near-side iron, resulting in him becoming unbalanced and falling. As a result of this incident, I FEEL GOOD was obliged to avoid the fallen rider and was subsequently eased out of the event. Sunshine Coast 09/04/2017

As a consequence was held up until leaving the 200m after which it was able to secure clear running to the outside of BASIC STRATEGY and in doing so made contact with RISING LUCK Gold Coast 15/04/2017

Subsolar Held up rounding the home turn. Jockey A. Allen, rider of MANDRYKA, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, in that near the 100m he permitted his mount to shift out when not fully clear of SHOW COMMAND, which was taken out across the rightful running of SUBSOLAR, which was severely checked.
