Big Dollars Raced 3 wide with cover throughout the event. On return to scale, apprentice S. Sweeney reported that the gelding was forced to race wide throughout and, given that the horse was first up from a significant spell today, she expected her mount to gain a significant fitness benefit from this event. Aderito Began awkwardly and shortly afterwards hampered when tightened for room by TRUE PASSION and BRAT ATTACK which shifted out. Raced wide throughout. Gold Coast 05/08/2017

Balkan Bambino Performed uncompetitively. N. Day reported that in his opinion he felt the gelding had muscle soreness. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer P. Alaskan Gold Began awkwardly and shifted out, making heavy contact with BIA TYCHE. Raced wide throughout. Had a tendency to lay in in the home straight and on a number of occasions became awkward at the heels of WILLOWBROOK WONDER. Ipswich 21/07/2017
Sweet Caviar Bumped heavily on jumping. Approaching the 900m got its head up when being restrained to obtain cover. A post race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in both hind legs. Stable representative was advised that a veterinary certificate of fitness must be produced prior to the filly’s next race start. Newcastle 25/03/2017
Fatz Raced three wide without cover. When questioned regarding the horse’s performance, A. Badger explained that the filly, which was having its first start today, commenced to hang out from the 800m and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
