Brave Jewel Slow to begin. Shortly after the start had to be steadied to avoid the heels of HOLDIN MY OWN which shifted out. Questioned regarding below market performance, Jockey stated after being slow to begin and then receiving slight interference shortly after, the filly failed to show sufficient early speed and raced 3 wide. He added that the filly only finished the race off fairly. He noted a step back in distance from its last start may not have been ideal and suggested to connections to experiment with blinkers. A Little Wicked Commenced to overrace from the 700m, had to be steadied away from heels, shifted out three wide and remained racing in that position for the remainder of the event. Had a tendency to shift out slightly approaching the winning post. Beaudesert 05/12/2017

Star Rock Bumped on jumping. When quest re perf. rdr stated mount travelled fairly in early stages however was under full pressure when field commenced to sprint app 500m. Rdr stated mount did not sprint strongly but rather ground to line where it hit line well. Rdr stated in his opinion geld would appreciate a step up in journey next start or the addition of blinkers.
