After being contacted on a number of occasions approaching the 400m, was able to secure clear running on entering the home straight.

When quest re tactics, in particular ride passing 1100m when pace of race was steady & restrained to allow another runner to cross to lead & then, after shifting to outside of that runner, again steadied when leaving 800m to allow another runner to cross before shifting to a 3 wide position near 600m.
