Gas Burner
|
stewards questioned rider K Gates over her riding in the first 200 metres of the event which saw GAS BURNER, after beginning well, being restrained to the tail of the field.. K Gates advised instructions from Trainer B Gill were to ride GAS BURNER cold and come with one run from the 600 metres, as the gelding had shown a tendency to over-race when restrained in the early stages of its most recent races.. Trainer B Gill confirmed the instructions issued to K Gates.. See stewards report for more .
