Lowe stated that after the gelding was unable to obtain the lead in its customary position, it failed to travel comfortably throughout the event. She further added that the gelding proved disappointing when placed under pressure. Trainer expressed disappointment with the performance, and undertook to report back on the subsequent results of a veterinary examination in coming days. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
