He attributed the improvement today to the decrease in weight, particularly the claim of the apprentice, and distance.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the filly was lame in the near hind and off hind leg. Trainer was advised that he must provide a veterinary clearance before the filly will be permitted to race again.
