Jockey C Spry’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 12 days to commence on 26 March 2023 and expire 6 April 2023. Zoomaratta shifted ground over the concluding stages.

As this was the first time the horse had suffered such an attack and acting under the provisions of AR79(4)(b), Trainer J Bawden was advised that the gelding would incur the mandatory ban from racing for a period of 3 months and then must pass a 1000m gallop to the satisfaction of stewards before being permitted to race again.
