| ABDUCTION | Badly hampered when Joyful Journey was taken in by Choix De Maia, which jumped awkwardly. When questioned regarding the performance of the filly, J McDonald stated that he improved through on the inside of runners rounding the home turn, but the effort of Abduction was short lived and it was most disappointing in its failure to finish the race off over the final 200m. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Stable representative Mr D Beadman undertook to report back as to how the filly pulled up and the future race plans for Abduction. |
