Endless Don  When afforded the opportunity to comment on the horse's disappointing run, rider R. Wiggins was unable to offer any tangible explanation other than that he suggested to connections to experiment with gear changes but felt that the gelding was disappointing. Trainer W. Hulbert agreed with jockey Wiggins' assessment and advised that it will be the intention to experiment with a gear change for the horse's next run.

The Doorman  Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped another runner, then shifted in and brushed hind quarters. Raced three wide throughout. When questioned regarding the horse's performance, R. Fradd stated that after beginning awkwardly the gelding was obliged to race three wide and near the 800m had to be steadied when placed in restricted room. Jockey Fradd added that the gelding raced greenly and in his opinion would benefit from today's race experience.  Ipswich  11/11/2015 
Winton Street  Began awkwardly, shifted out and hampered HOPE ISLAND. Held up rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight. Near the 200m had to be steadied from the heels of HIGH COST and was then obliged to shift in to secure clear running. Raced wide throughout. Jockey J. Brookton Ice  Had to be steadied leaving the 1100m when placed in restricted room to the inside of TARBERT, which had to be steadied to avoid the heels of FLINDERS PEAK , which was being steadied. Jockey R. McMahon was fined $100 or using his whip more than 5 times prior to the 100m.

Kirsten Cove  Overraced in the lead throughout the race, and hung out rounding the home turn. Trainer M. Mair indicated he would now consider the horse's racing future. Bloomin' Elusive (NZ)  The start was delayed when the horse became fractious in the barriers and had to be examined by the veterinary surgeon before being cleared to start. Trainer T.
