Hellyer stated that he was of the opinion the gelding was not comfortable on the tight turning circuit and as a result never travelled comfortably at any stage. He further noted that this was the horse's first run for over a month and was of the opinion that its run had ended over the concluding stages however would benefit from this outing. Rob Roy  Had to be eased near the 900m to avoid the heels of MR METICULOUS, which momentarily shifted in. Apprentice M. McGillivray, rider of MR METICULOUS, was advised to provide greater clearance when shifting ground in future. Raced 3 wide without cover.

DYNAMIC DRIVE  Became fractious after being boxed and broke through the barriers, dislodging its rider. After travelling a short distance the was recaptured, returned to the barriers, underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to race.  Ipswich  2/05/2016

Miss Sonador  When questioned regarding the poor performance, jockey P. Hammersley stated that the filly never travelled comfortably throughout the race and failed to run on when placed under pressure and, in his opinion, was most disappointing. Trainer S. Egiptienne  Very fractious in the barriers and reared on a number of occasions and then reared as the start was effected, losing significant ground. Prior to correct weight being given, stewards observed the video footage to be satisfied that the horse was granted a fair start. After viewing the footage, stewards were satisfied and declared correct weight. Trainer L. Knightwick Manor  Trainer B. Dais was reprimanded for presenting the horse with
incorrect gear. Laid out rounding the home turn and under pressure in the home straight. Stewards questioned Jockey A. Spinks in relation to his whip use as he was in breach of the whip rule. Jockey Spinks indicated that as the horse had hung out for most of the race he made use of the whip in an attempt to straighten his mount. Stewards accepted his explanation as the film evidence supported jockey Spinks' explanation.

Visona Red  When asked to comment on the performance, jockey D. Browne indicated that he recommended to trainer S. Mackinnon to step the gelding up to 1200m which would enable the horse to have the opportunity to settle in the middle stages in an attempt to have the horse finish it races off better.  Sunshine Coast  20/03/2015

Dam Wonderful  Had to be checked near the 600m when tightened for room. After taking evidence from jockey B. Grylls, rider of DAM WONDERFUL, and riders involved in the incident, it was established that MAGNETTE shifted out slightly and LA DOICE VITA shifted in. Whilst stewards did not feel the incident could be attributed solely to the actions of jockey R. Fradd, rider of LA DOICE VITA, he was nevertheless advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.  Sunshine Coast  23/04/2016 
Henryvonhufeisen  A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to have slower than normal post-race recovery. Trainer G. Duncan was advised that he will be required to produce a veterinary clearance for the horse prior to its next start.  Sunshine Coast  10/01/2016 
Martinelli  Pulled hard in the early stages. When questioned, J. Lloyd explained that he had been instructed to lead, but if challenged, to endeavour to restrain and obtain cover. He said that after passing the 1200m he was unable to restrain the gelding and this had a detrimental effect on the horse's performance.
