Fradd reported that despite being slow to begin he was able to obtain his intended position just behind the speed, however failed to respond as expected when placed under pressure upon straightening and proved disappointing. He added that the colt was inclined to lay in in the home straight. Trainer S. O'Dea was unable to offer any further explanation regarding the performance and agreed the horse was inclined to lay in, and added that he would report back to stewards any abnormality that comes to light in the coming days which may have had a bearing on the run. |
