Adhere Change of tactics. Connections advised that the horse would be forward in the first half of the field as it overraced and settled at the tail last start. Ridden accordingly, however overraced in the lead during the middle stages. Sunshine Coast 20/11/2016

I'm Thinking The start was delayed with the horse became cast in the barriers, and after undergoing a veterinary examination was cleared to start. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Trainer reported some muscle soreness following this event. Sunshine Coast 10/04/2016
Apollo Hope Apprentice T. Brooker reported she attempted to ride her mount forward with cover, however the gelding overraced and she was obliged to it to stride forward to lead where the horse continued to overrace and this had a detrimental effect on the overall performance Sunshine Coast 16/11/2016

He's All Heart When questioned, rider J. Kissick stated his mount overraced in the early stages and for this reason his mount was left without a genuine finishing effort in the straight; J Kissick added that he was of the opinion that the gelding is better suited in races over a shorter distance when the speed is on which allows the gelding to settle better. a post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any significant abnormalities. Kingtantes Change of tactics. Connections advised that the horse would be ridden more positively and take up a forward position in the first 2 or 3. After being slow to begin was ridden hard in the early stages to take up a forward position. Sunshine Coast 20/11/2016
How Can I Help J. Lloyd was questioned regarding his tactics, whereby the horse settled midfield, which was in contrast to the horse’s most recent starts where it has led. He indicated that when he last rode the horse he had been instructed to settle the horse with cover, however the horse overraced when wearing blinkers. At its subsequent start, when ridden by G. Goold, the blinkers had been removed and despite this the gelding again overraced and was obliged to settle in the lead. With this in mind, stewards were satisfied that as no tactical change had occurred, no further action was taken. Sunshine Coast 13/11/2016

Lightning Bell Apprentice R. Payne was reprimanded for using her whip more than 5 times prior to the 100m. Sunshine Coast 16/11/2016
Tony Baloney Jumped away awkwardly and made heavy contact with the barrier partition and lost ground. Inconvenienced near the 600m. Stewards questioned jockey D. Browne regarding the early stages of the race. He indicated that despite his urgings the horse couldn’t muster speed and he was obliged to pressure his mount for the majority of the event. He also added that the horse laid in significantly under pressure in the straight, placing him at a disadvantage from the 300m onwards. Sunshine Coast 20/11/2016
Sweet Shamrock Near the 1200m shifted in and brushed the running rail. When racing wide in the early stages, ridden forward to the lead. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be suffering from heat stress. Gold Coast 12/11/2016

Windy Sands Apprentice C. Schmidt was questioned regarding the tactics she adopted after leaving the 1000m whereby the pace steadied. She stated that it was no her intention to lead or to reduce the pace, however the mare relaxed more than she had expected and and as a result horses which were racing directly behind her had to be steadied. Ms Schmidt was advised to be mindful of the consequences of steadying the pace when in a leading position. Lost the near hind plate in running. Eagle Farm 09/11/2016
