Heaps Good Trainer C. Anderson advised that from the wide barrier the gelding would be ridden conservatively. The horse was ridden accordingly. Bumped shortly after the start. Sunshine Coast 25/11/2016
Jexerlent Began awkwardly. App.questioned re: the performance. He stated that he anticipated settling outside the lead and after beginning awkwardly he rode his moualong, however was obliged to settle further back. He said in the middle stageshe was able to obtain a position three wide with cover however from the 500m he was obliged to shift wider to improve into the event. He added that whenplaced under pressure Jexerlent responded only fairly prior to weakening over the final 200 metres. A post race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. One in One Out Reared at the start. Had to be checked when tightened for room approaching the 900m. Trainer S. Watters advised stewards that when ONE IN ONE OUT reared at the start and lost round and met with interference near the 900m, the horse was not suited as it races best when racing in a forward position. Rider reported notwithstanding gelding’s racing manners in early stages he was disappointed in performance, as it improved into race as expected leaving 700m however, peaked on its run upon straightening. Right Advice Checked near the 1000m. Apprentice A. Fancourt, rider of MY GIRL HAYLEY, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, in that she allowed her mount to shift in near the 1000m, taking STAR OF NIGHT in on to JOMAR'S ELEMENT, which further shifted in, tightening the running of RIGHT ADVICE, which had to be taken hold of and lost its position, and as a result tightened the running of LADY DUPORTH Eagle Farm 03/12/2016
Final Over Began awkwardly. Raced 3 wide without cover. Apprentice S. Lacy was questioned regarding her riding of the mare after passing the 800m, whereby she was forced 3 wide by another runner. Miss Lacy agreed with stewards she had erred on this occasion and should have ridden more forward to race immediately behind SWEET REPEAT, which would have prevented LADY MERCURY shifting out Doomben 23/11/2016
