Sonador Angel Hung out from the 800m until straightening. Jockey B. Stewart explained that when crossed by ROCK GARDEN his horse overraced badly when inclined to hang out, and then from the 800m continued to shift out away from SNOW DRIFTER. Tralee Chorus Overraced in the early stages and as a result was steadied from the heels of PERISHA near the 1400m, shifted three wide and raced three wide without cover from that point. J. Lloyd reported at scale that his mount hung in throughout the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Doomben 12/11/2016

Perforation When questioned regarding the performance, Jockey M Hellyer explained that the horse has shown previously that it races best when allowed to dictate terms on its own accord. He said today he was keen to maintain the lead, however, it was headed by HIDDEN ROAD. He said the horse then travelled only fairly however, once PONCHERELLO raced up alongside, his mount dropped the bit and commenced to weaken before straightening. In straight did not persist in riding it out as was losing ground quickly. Post-race examination revealed poor post-race recovery and mild heart stress. Gold Coast 25/02/2017
