One Man Grand Caught 3 wide without cover and jockey J. Lloyd attempted to ride forward to secure the lead passing the 1000m, however was unable to cross SILENT FLYER and then the rider elected to steady and attempted to position behind that runner, however was not clear to shift in at a point passing the 800m and was obliged to remain 3 wide without cover for the remainder of the event. Gruosi Held up at the heels of a tiring runner rounding the home turn. Ipswich 23/06/2017
Mehmeto Stable representative questioned re seemingly improved performance from its most previous start - stated gelding pressured when leading throughout event at last start and as a consequence compounded badly on that occasion. Noted gelding ridden to obtain a forward position today but was unable to muster sufficient speed and settled in a midfield position with cover. Gold Coast 05/07/2017

Surge Blanco Rider questioned regarding horse's performance. Refer Stewards Report. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities other than that the horse had an elevated heart rate. Stewards advised Mr Wilson that after further tests failed to reveal any abnormalities, a further jumpout would be required. Competed successfully and won a 1000m jumpout on June 27 at Sunshine Coast. Sunshine Coast 18/06/2017

La Mascara Raced wide throughout. Near the 250m hampered by SO INVINCIBLE which shifted out marginally. Gold Coast 15/07/2017
State of Texas Was fractious and reared in the barriers prior to the start. Began awkwardly and shifted out and made contact with the barrier partition. Laid in and away from LIKE ‘EM SASSY near the 700m, causing BELSHAZZAR to be steadied. Rockhampton 06/07/2017

Meet George Jetson When questioned regarding the performance, jockey R. Stewart stated that he had to work hard in the early stages to obtain a position outside the leader and when placed under pressure soon after straightening, the gelding failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. The stable representative advised that they may have veterinary tests carried out on the horse Sunshine Coast 16/04/2017

Coochin Boy Raced greenly throughout and weakened over the concluding stages. A warning was placed on the horse’s racing manners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a mild respiratory infection. Trainer D. Hansen was advised to provide to stewards the results of an endoscopic examination. Sunshine Coast 08/01/2017

Shining Blue Hung out severely leaving the 600m and failed to take any competitive part in the race. Vetted - no abnormalities. Official barrier trial requuired. Gold Coast 08/04/2017
Sir Titanite Began awkwardly and made contact with the inside barrier partition. When questioned regarding the horse’s disappointing performance, B. Stewart stated that he attempted to obtain the lead, however when runners to his inside improved, he was caught racing three wide, which on the heavy track he was content to do. He added that once rounding the home turn when he placed his mount under pressure it failed to respond and therefore he was inclined to desist with pressuring his mount for the remainder of the event. Race 6
Valleseco J. Lloyd explained that just prior to straightening he was of the view that his mount may have been struck from behind. He said because of this he immediately became concerned with the horse’s action and commenced to ease the horse down. He added that whilst being eased it made an abnormal breathing noise. Race 7
Final Zero Had to be restrained from the heels of ROTHABYE when the pace steadied near the 800m. When questioned regarding the performance, rider J. Orman reported it was his intention to settled handy on the filly however after ROTHABYE surrendered the lead approaching the 900m, his filly then settled further back than he had intended and overraced with the slow pace. He added when he placed pressure on the filly she failed to respond. Sunshine Coast 12/04/2017
Kulaba Apprentice S. Lacy reported that, in her opinion, the horse failed to handle the track conditions and dipped on a number of occasions, particularly near the 600m and again near the 400m. Sunshine Coast 09/07/2017

Tycoon Tyke Improved onto heels passing the 600m and had to be restrained, and was then held up for clear running until leaving the 200m when disappointed for a run at that point and had to be steadied and went to the line without being fully tested. Sunshine Coast 09/07/2017

Capo Di Tutti G. Colless reported that near the 900m he attempted to restrain his mount but was unable to do so as the gelding raced fiercely and near the 800m had to be checked away from heels. Doomben 08/07/2017
