Our Rocketman Tired over the concluding stages. Rider reported that the gelding was making an abnormal respiratory noise during the event. Goodscent Became fractious in the enclosure and fell, dislodging its rider. Rider M. Du Plessis was cleared of injury. Underwent a veterinary examination on arrival at the barriers and was cleared to start. Sunshine Coast 06/11/2022
Bamboleo Dwelt in the barrier and was slow into stride then shifted out abruptly soon after. Trailer the field for the majority and finished tailed off. Toowoomba 29/10/2022

When asked to comment rider W Peel reported the horse travelled comfortably during the race however was not suited by being forced to race wide throughout the event. Hell Of A Prince Jumped out at start and bumped ASKEW. Near the 600m commenced to lay out and passing the 500m was checked when racing tightly to the inside of THE RATTLESNAKE which was inclined to lay in at that point. Sunshine Coast Poly Track 21/08/2022

Bonnie And Clyde (NZ) Passing the winning post on the first occasion, when racing tightly to the inside of FRIEND OF GOD, was restrained and as a consequence made the turn awkwardly, shifted out and lost ground. In taking no direct action, Stewards advised both riders to exercise care in similar circumstances. Laid in rounding the home turn and in the home straight when placed under pressure. Out Back Boom After being crossed by REAL TIDY near the 900m, then over-raced for some distance at the heels of that horse. Awkwardly placed and held up when disappointed for a run to the inside of NORTHERN MELODY soon after entering the home straight resulting in both runners coming together and racing tightly for a short distance before OUT BACK BOOM securing clear running near the 100m. Gracie Blue Travelled keenly app & rounding 1st turn. When quest re riding near 900m, in particular why when travelling comfortably outside the leader she elected to ride mount along to improve with, & hold a posn inside, a runner which improved around her mount in 3 wide posn rdr stated up to that point her mount had enjoyed moderate sectionals. Rdr stated when runner improved around her mount she was concerned it might be difficult to run down appreciating moderate early tempo & its light weigh impost. Rdr stated for this reason she elected to improve with it & dictate terms. Ballina 16/12/2022
