A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised the mare would now be transferred from his stable. Notwithstanding that advice, Trainer was advised the mare would be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial prior to racing again.

Shifted in abruptly on jumping & bumped. When qst, rdr advised instructed to lead, but after beginning awkwardly he had to make some use of mnt in early stages to obtain lead passing the 1300m. He said once in the lead, his mnt commenced to race keenly & despite his efforts established a margin on rest of the field. Added passing the 700m he felt mnt commence to weaken, so he began to apply pressure to which it responded fairly until passing the 250m, when it failed to respond to riding & weakened. A post-race vet exam revealed the gelding to have a small laceration to near-hind fetlock.
