Campanology Examined by the veterinary surgeon behind the barriers after brushing the fence when leaving the mounting yard and cleared to start. Bumped with another runner at the start and lost ground. Raced wide throughout. When questioned regarding the performance, which was below market expectations, apprentice D. Graham advised that after losing ground at the start she was forced to race wide throughout the event, which in her opinion resulted in the gelding failing to respond when placed under pressure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Cunnamulla 08/10/2016
Rock On Ivy Stewards questioned jockey in relation to the seemingly disappointing performance. He advised his mount travelled comfortably throughout the event, however when placed under pressure over the concluding stages failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing. Warwick 08/10/2016
Tangara Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Gold Coast 15/10/2016
Wow Factor When the pace slowed near the 900m improved to the inside of the heels of another runner and had to be checked. Doomben 12/10/2016

Sunset Hills Jockey and trainer questioned re. tactics – refer full report. Trainer was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding’s poor performance. Lismore 11/10/2016

Drinking Cocktails Laid out marginally over the concluding stages and brushed another runner. Toowoomba 01/10/2016
Mine With Lime Reluctant to proceed to the start and proved difficult to load. Shifted out abruptly of its own accord near the 1600m, resulting in rider B. Newport becoming unbalanced. Following the event trainer M. Kropp advised that at this stage it is the intention to give the horse a freshen up before its next start. Toowoomba 28/11/2015

Big Sonny Began awkwardly. Between the 300m and 100m was inclined to lay in under pressure. Lismore 07/05/2016

The Bruce Tightened for room at the start. Bumped with another runner on a number of occasions in the early stages. Raced ungenerously whilst being restrained in the early stages. Laid in in the home straight Gatton 06/09/2016
The Equine Bolt Kicked by another runner behind the gates and was examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Change of tactics, to be ridden further back in the field if circumstances permit. After racing keenly in the early stages settled in third position. Bumped another runner when shifting out to improve rounding the home turn. Toowoomba 24/03/2016

Agapantha After being crossed by another runner in the early stages of the event, commenced to race keenly for some distance and was steadied from heels. Toowoomba 01/10/2016
Tony Baloney Bumped with another runner at the 550m. Laid in under pressure down the home straight, which prevented rider N. Tomizawa from riding the horse out with his usual vigour. Toowoomba 04/06/2016
I'm Alone When being ridden forward in the early stages to obtain the lead, hung out rounding the first turn near the 900m. Bumped near the 150m. Gold Coast 17/10/2015
Nuskee Parker began to lose ground leaving the 600 metres and retired from the event in the home straight. At a subsequent inquiry App N Keal explained that near the 400 metres he felt the gelding become unbalanced and short distance later was of the belief NUSKEE PARKER had broken down and therefore elected to restrain the gelding. A post-race Vet examination failed to reveal any abnormality. Trainer P Sexton was advised NUSKEE PARKER would be required to trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start. Gayndah 08/10/2016

Gran Sabana Raced wide in the early stages without cover and then obtained a position outside the leader near the 1000m. Doomben 12/10/2016
Royal Script Had difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 200m and obliged to shift wider on the track to obtain clear running. Ipswich 07/10/2016
Schwarzy Slow to begin. Had to be steadied form heels near the 700m. Obliged to steady from heels near the 300m when LEGS UNBARRED shifted out when not fully clear. L. Tarrant, rider of LEGS UNBARRED, was advised to exercise more care. Doomben 12/10/2016
