When quest app stated today was mounts 1st attempt at 2000m. App stated mount began well & was caught 3 wide, without cover, outside slow tempo. App stated passing 1200m she elected to work fwd however leaders improved with her & mount remained 3 wide. App stated she obtained cover app 800m. App stated mount failed to let down strongly from 600m & went to line fairly. App stated she did not believe mount appreciated manner in which it was obliged to race & it is better suited being able to settle back off a genuine tempo & work into sprint. P/R vet exam no ab's.

Began awkwardly and was bumped. Eased down from the 100m. When questioned, rider explained the mare began only fairly, failed to travel throughout the event, was under pressure from the 500m and in the straight felt uncomfortable in its action and in his opinion may have come to the end of its preparation. When questioned, trainer Lloyd Kennewell indicated that connections would give consideration to the mare's current racing preparation. Vets examination revealed a slow recovery.
