Rdr stated when challenged for lead from 500m mount was immediately under full pressure, raced greenly, & weakened noticeably down the straight. Tnr stated this is the 2nd time in as many starts the mare has compounded when challenged by other runners. Tnr advised mare would leave her stable. P/R vet no ab's.

Proved difficult to load. Trainer was advised a warning would be placed on the gelding’s record as a result. Began very awkwardly resulting in Jockey K. Yoshida becoming unbalanced and lost ground. Raced ungenerously in the early stages. Approaching the 1400m, rider was struck in the face by a large clod of turf kickback which impacted his vision and consequently obliged him to steady his mount. Laid out near the 1300m.
