When quest re riding in middle stages rdr stated mount commenced to pull passing 1000m to extent he had difficulty maintaining a hold on reins. Rdr stated near 800m mount pulled way up onto heels of runner in advance &, with a weakening hold, he directed it outwards to avoid that runners heels, running wide on track. Rdr stated he elected to remain racing wide, w/out cover, in middle stages appreciating manner in which mount was racing. Warning placed on racing manners. Tnr to experiment with bit. .

Shifted out on jumping, When questioned regarding the filly leading by a considerable distance, Jockey N. Beriman stated her mount took hold of her in the early stages which placed a significant gap between the field which resulted in the horse failing to finish off. Trainer N. McCall advised Stewards that she may consider taking the blinkers off and drop back in distance.
