Queensland Off-The-Track proudly introduces Kate Rogers as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.

Kate, an International 4* Three Day Event rider based in Queensland, is a star in the saddle and is a frequent competitor on the elite Eventing circuit locally and interstate. Competing off the track thoroughbreds since her teens, Kate has ridden at a State and National level for the past two decades, enjoying success at Australia’s major eventing competitions nation-wide.

Formerly working in the racing industry, breeding, breaking-in and riding trackwork, Kate’s biggest accomplishments have been retraining thoroughbreds in performance disciplines off the track, with major achievements including competing on former racehorse Papa’s Dream at the biggest eventing competitions in Australia, including Melbourne 4*, Sydney 4* and the Adelaide International 3DE on three separate occasions.

In addition, Kate campaigned Global Victory with many successes including winning the Aquis Triequithon in 2017 and an International 4* Event before he was sold to Olympic Silver Medallist Kevin McNab, who now competes Global Victory against the world’s best in Europe.

“I am passionate about Thoroughbreds, and I feel my purpose in life is to give these horses the chance they deserve. We are currently doing some great work in this space through the charity Transitioning Thoroughbreds Foundation and it is a personal honour to be recognised as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.”

Kate is an Equestrian Australia Accredited NCAS Level 1 Coach and an Approved Coach for the Queensland Off-The-Track Subsidised Lessons Program.

Kate, a Trainer for Transitioning Thoroughbreds Foundation, moulds her retraining based on each individual horse, taking considerable pride in offering off the thoroughbreds a chance to learn new skills and prepare them for their future equine careers.
