Our Recruitment Process

At RQ, we are committed to finding the best talent to join our team. Our application process is designed to help us get to know each other as much as possible. Here’s what you can expect when you apply to work with us:

Applications

Send us your application through the careers section of our website. Every applicant receives a response.

Stage 1:

We want to get to know you! You will first meet with our People and Performance Team, who will help you understand more about the role, RQ and our culture. We will explore your experiences, motivations and aspirations.

Stage 2:

Meet with one or more of our organisational Leaders. This is a great opportunity to discuss your experience, motivations, and aspirations in more detail, learn about the specific area of the organisation you’re interested in, discuss a specific role that is aligned to you, and ask any questions that you may have.

Stage 3:

Everyone is unique, and for some roles we use personality and cognitive ability assessments to help us get a more complete picture of who you are. We also conduct reference checks to learn more about you and ensure that you are the right fit for our team and that we are the right fit for you. For some roles you many need to undergo other preemployment checks such as background and police checks.

Stage 4:

If everything goes well, we will extend an offer to you! We hope that you’ll accept and join our team of Everyday Champions! Then, it’s time to begin onboarding and start your exciting new journey with us.
