• Date: The second running of the race will take place on Saturday night, July 12, 2025 as part of the Constellations Carnival/Inter Dominion.

RACE DETAILS

• Format: 2YO Open Slot Race, Mobile Start over 1660m
• Participants: Restricted to 10 Slots
• Barrier: Random Barrier Draw

SLOT INFORMATION

• Price: $30,000 (plus GST) each
• Allocation: 1 slot for race sponsor Ladbrokes, the remaining 9 Slot Licence Holders will be determined via two ballots as follows:
  1. 3 for Queensland located, individuals, businesses or syndicates: and,
  2. 6 for the remaining eligible applicants (including any unsuccessful Queensland located individuals, businesses or syndicates).
• Ballot Date: Applicants will be advised of the ballot details once applications close.
• Notification: Successful Slot Holders will be informed following the ballot.

• The Ladbrokes Protostar is exclusively for two-year-olds, making it a unique addition to the harness racing calendar.
