The Cairns Jockey Club received a new set of 14-stall starting gates, valued at $182,495, through the Asset Management program after their current gates were deemed non-compliant during a venue inspection.
The existing backup set at Cairns was refurbished and sent to the Herbert River Jockey Club via the Country Club Asset Funding program.
