RACE ONE

WAR DAN APOLLO (9) stuck to the pegs in his heat and despite being 4 back in the run kept finding along the inside to arrive for a 2m victory. That was his 1^st run for the Donny Smith barn and with further benefit he can go back-to-back.
OUR MELS DREAM (4) was looking for his 4^th win in succession in the heats of this series when he could only manage 3^rd when 4m from the winner. He can ease from the early battle and look to close out late.
GOTTA GLOW (8) would be well fancied in this if starting from any gate bar where she has landed here. She has been in great touch and was a half-head winner of her heat from gate 7. She is going too well to ignore.
SHAREAPASSION (1) will be well suited from this gate over the mile and can look to make the most of the inside. He was run down late in the heat and will be gripping to the lead again here.

RACE TWO

ONE WISE MAN (5) slid back from gate 6 last week and was too far back when CASINO TOMMY kicked for home at the 400m. Getting to the outside he found the line strongly to finish best of the chasing pack. Look for him swooping in the closing stages.
GERONIMO BEAU (1) fired out early to the pegs before releasing over the 2138m trip last start, not before burning plenty in strong opening 500m. Holding the bronze behind a clear out winner CASINO TOMMY. From the gate he gets his chance.
KARLOO MAC (3) went straight to the front from gate 2 in a 2^nd division qualifier and with a controlled 2^nd panel had enough in the tank to score. He might have to burn too much early.
WITH AUTHORITY (10) will strip fitter from his latest run which was his 2^nd run back from a break. When resuming he was 3-wide the trip and he can be an improver here.

RACE THREE

CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (8) lands the tricky gate again having started from here in 2 of his past 4 starts. Last start he angled in behind the leader and was closing late to get within 2m of the winner. If he can see space with time left he looks hard to stop in this line-up.
CHANTREY (3) has been working towards something and on Tues was able to work away from the inside and loomed up to the leader but just couldn’t get past him to finish 1m away. He is a danger.
SPEEDIE MCARDLE (1) was a long way back in the pack here 2 starts back but was charging home late arriving for a nose victory. His last start from gate 7 had merit and is in the mix.
EXCEPTIONAL MACH (5) put together 3 successive claiming victories to earn a shot back in band company. Finding the pocket trail he went within a neck of FIREBBY and is an exotic player in this.

RACE FOUR

CASINO TOMMY (2) had been warming up to something with placed runs at his previous 3 outings when beaten no further than 2.5m coming into last week’s qualifier. Working off the inside he put the leader away at the 400m in a 14m victory. The gate suits and he can go back-to-back.
COVERT BEAUTY (1) was a beaten fav over the 2138m trip 2 starts back when she couldn’t work into the contest. Last week back to the mile made all the difference in scoring. The gate is a big plus.
TALLYHO BROMAC (5) will find this a more suitable line-up to what he has been facing. 5 starts back he was only beaten a neck by THE SPACE INVADER and has run into some other stronger runners in recent outings.
TOP TRIO (8) landed successive wins and followed that with a 2^nd to the in-form GANGSTER BOY. His run had merit last week when taken right back from gate 7 and can be right in the mix here.

RACE FIVE

ONLY IN ROME (9) can be forgiven for his effort last week when down the line behind CASINO TOMMY with his efforts prior to that good including 2 starts back when he worked hard I the run outside MARETTI in slick panels. The mile is the query but he is worth a ticket in an open contest.
ROCKNROLL MUSIC (2) has been waiting to land a marble and he looks to get his chance here. Last start from gate 11 he was stuck wide off the track and with an early shot for the pegs he can turn his fortunes around.
CROWNING GLORY (8) was an all the way winner from gate 4 at this trip 3 starts back and followed that with a half-neck 2^nd. He will need some luck.
WASTE OF TIME (1) is 2^nd up since joining the Danni-Elle McMullen barn and will take good benefit from his 1^st run at Marburg and be fighting on at the finish.

RACE SIX

POLISHED ROCKS (1) landed successive 2^nd placed runs here 5 starts back with both of those over this trip. At his next run he attacked the line when 8m from GLENFERRIE HOOD and his past 2 has seen him work hard in the run. With the benefit of the gate he gets his chance.
BETTABE PERFECT (2) lands his best gate for some time and can look to settle close to the speed and make the most of it. He is right in the fight.
ALLELUIA (3) worked home best to score over the mile 2 starts back and then was buried away in the run after starting from inside the 2^nd line here last week. He can go close here.
GANGSTER BOY (6) is in great touch and did all the work here last week when only 4m from the winner MAKO BANNER. That followed a strong all the way win from gate 4 and he is in the mix again.

RACE SEVEN

GLENFERRIE HOOD (5) started from gate 6 last week over the 2138m and a COT was lodged to be driven less aggressive. He fired up in the run as a result and that cost him his chance yet was still only 6m from the winner VILLAGE WITCH. He can bounce back.
OUR HI JINX (2) settled well back in the pack last start over the 2138m and was unleashing his customary late sprint to get within 5m of the winner MAJESTIC MAJOR. He will be storming home late once again.
REMEMBER THEM (1) speared out from gate 3 last start and looked to take them all the way over the middle distance. With the gate advantage he has the options and looks a trifecta player.
JOYS A BABE (7) gets no joy from the gate but she is starting to find her form following 5 runs back from a spell. She won’t be too far away from them here.

RACE EIGHT

JACKS AT THE BEACH (3) pressed ahead from gate 7 over 2138m here on Tues and the hard work told when fading out. That followed 3 consecutive placed runs including a half-head 2^nd to PSYCHEDELIC. Suited at the mile, he can go straight to the front and with no pressure looks hard to stop.
NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (11) was charging home late in a Marburg to Albion Final here last week from this same gate and went within a nose of victory. He will be charging late once again.
SEVEN RIPPIN ACES (2) appreciated a return to a front line gate here on Tues and settling in the running line was solid to the line in a slick closing panel. He can be in the perfect positon.
NOTTELLINYA (9) went back from gate 7 here 5 starts back and followed the inside all the way to claim the silver. He does his best along the inside..

RACE NINE

BUNDABURRA (6) was brutal in winning when 2^nd up in Qld in a Rising Stars heat and sprinting sharply to run a slick closing 800m over the 2138m trip. Buried away in the final he was charging but the race was gone. With some early pace he can charge over the top to score.
GAME WE PLAY (2) finds the front line after his past 4 have been from 2^nd line gates. His run 4 back when 3m from MAKO BANNER was solid and finding the pegs can look to dictate terms.
RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (9) found his race last start and was able to speed to the pegs and once in front was never in any danger. That followed 3 runs where he was beat at the barrier draw. Chance.
ANYCHANCE (7) is a classy customer returning from a spell that has trialled in good order for the return. The gate hurts and he will be better for the run.

RACE TEN

RELEVEN DREAM (6) settled in the running line off a 2^nd line gate last start under mobile conditions finishing too strongly for OUR DAINTY LADY and OUR OVERANOVA. 3 starts back he won a 2138m stand under these conditions and can continue his great season.

OUR OVERANOVA (7) loves these races and is always in the thick of the action. Last start he pressed ahead from gate 7 and worked in the run. He always commands respect.
FOURSHARESMOREBEERS (2) was a narrow winner here on Tues under mobile conditions when arriving in time for victory.and can give this a big shake.
KIP KEINO (1) hasn’t been too far away at his 2 Qld runs and with a safe start can issue a place challenge.
