Ben Currie’s Star four-year old has had three career starts at the Toowoomba track for a winning aggregate of 13.3L.
The gelding’s win at Clifford Park on February 9 was perhaps his most remarkable, coping with a 5kg weight rise from his previous start to make very light work of the opposition. The fast-finisher has now won four of his last five, with seemingly, many more to come.

Brook’s Pleasure
Race-goers will get to see what the fuss is all about when the Jamie McConachy-trained filly lines up in a QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap in Rockhampton this Saturday.
In a pleasing debut for her endless list of connections, there were no nervous moments in her first start as she romped to a 7.2L win at Rockhampton on February 16.

Mr Marbellouz
Trainer Kevin Kemp has struck gold recently, with Mr Marbellouz one of two of his gun runners seemingly making the highlight reel after every start.
Mr Marbellouz has now saluted the judge five times from six career starts by an average of more than six lengths. The four-year-old Love Conquers All gelding strolled in at Doomben on February 10, running the 1050m in 59.64sec.

Plumaro
The Spirit Of Boom two-year-olds have been a showpiece for racing all summer with Plumaro one of the shining lights. The Kevin Kemp-trained head turner will step out in the QTIS Two-Year-Old Jewel following a stunning come-from-behind win at Doomben on March 3.
However, the most memorable win was undoubtedly his debut. After missing the kick, Plumaro settled back in the field but charged home to record a dominant victory at Toowoomba on January 28.
