Toowoomba Turf CIub – Two Additional Races Programmed – Monday 15 October

RQ confirms that following the abandonment of the Brisbane Racing Club at Doomben today, Saturday 13 October, two additional races have been added to the program for the Toowoomba TC meeting on Monday 15 October.

The races represent a direct transfer of two of the races lost from the Doomben program (Races 1 & 6 respectively) and are:

• QTIS 3yo Handicap 1350m $70,000 + QTIS bonuses (now Race 10)
• QTIS 2yo Handicap 1050m $70,000 + QTIS bonuses (now Race 9)

The fields which were carded as acceptances for these races on the Doomben program have been retained and scratchings reinstated.

The revised race timetable/schedule (Qld time) for the replacement meeting on Monday 15 October is as follows:

Following the abandonment of the Gold Coast TC, Brisbane RC & Warwick TC race meetings today, RQ will continue to give consideration to the potential reprogramming of alternative racing opportunities in the short-term for any horses denied a start at that those race meetings.
