Racing Queensland confirms that there have been amendments made to the following SEQ race programs in December 2018.
1. Tuesday 4 December - Beaudesert RC –– Race meeting deleted
2. Wednesday 12 December – Was Brisbane RC at Doomben, is now Beaudesert RC
As a consequence of the change, the program will now comprise:
- Class 6 Handicap 1400m $21k
- CG&E Class 3 Plate (SW) 1200m $21k
- F&M Class 3 Plate (SW) 1200m $21k
- Class 2 Plate (SW) 1650m $21k
- Class 2 Handicap 1050m $21k
- Maiden Handicap (4yo & up) 1300m $21k
- QTIS 3YO C&G Maiden Plate (SW) 1300m $21k plus applicable QTIS Bonuses
- QTIS 3YO Fillies Maiden Plate (SW) 1300m $21k plus applicable QTIS Bonuses
This will now be a provincial race meeting for the purposes of apprentice claims and premierships.
3. Sunday 16 December – Sunshine Coast TC
This race meeting will now be afforded metropolitan status as opposed to provincial status and its prizemoney allocation has been amended accordingly.
To that end, the program will now comprise:
- Magic Millions Country Cup Qualifier Open Handicap 1200m, was $32.5k (post 1 November increases), and remains at $32.5k
- RQ Summer Provincial Series Heat – Benchmark 75 Handicap, was $25k (post 1 November increases), is now $30k
- Benchmark 62 Handicap 1200m, was $21k (post 1 November increases), is now $30k
- Class 1 Handicap 1600m, was $21K (post 1 November increases), is now $30k
- Maiden Handicap 1400m, was $21k (post 1 November increases), is now $25k
- Maiden Plate (SW) 1000m, was $21k (post 1 November increases), is now $25k
- QTIS Two-Year-Old Maiden Handicap 1000m, was $21k plus QTIS bonuses (post 1 November increases), is now $25k plus QTIS bonuses
