2019 Country Cup Conditions Amended

Racing Queensland advises stakeholders that the North QLD Regional Heats for the Country Cup will now be conducted in Townsville on 1 January 2019.

Full conditions for the series are as follows:

Eligibility: Greyhound must be domiciled north of Gympie (post code 4570) since 24 October 2018 (3 months). Open to all grades.

Qualifier 1: North QLD

• Townsville 498m
• Heats 1 January 2019
• Final 8 January 2019 ($2,625 total prizemoney)
• Nominations close Friday 28 December at 9.30am

Qualifier 2: Central QLD

• Bundaberg 550m
• Heats 5 January 2019
• Final 12 January 2019 ($2,625 total prizemoney)
• Nominations close Wednesday 2 January at 9.30am

Top 4 qualifiers from each venue progress to the Country Cup Final over 520m at Albion Park on 24 January 2019.

Reserves: The 5^th place getter at each regional qualifier will be drawn as a reserve for the Country Cup Final at Albion Park. Reserves will be allocated as per GAR22 (10). In the event of a North QLD scratching, the North QLD reserve will replace the scratched runner. In the event of a Central QLD scratching, the Central QLD reserve will replaced the scratched runner. Scratchings for the Country Cup Final close on Monday 21 January 2019 at 8.30am to allow time for the reserves to make travel arrangements.
