Following a QRIC stewards inspection, the non-Tab race meeting scheduled by the Mareeba TC for Saturday 29 December has been ABANDONED due to the state of the track.
This race meeting was originally postponed from Boxing Day due to the wet weather, with more rain recorded since then.
The Mareeba racetrack has recorded approximately 115mm of rainfall this week making the track unsuitable for racing.
RQ will liaise with the club to determine if a suitable replacement date is available in the remainder of the 2018/19 racing season.
