The Mareeba TC non-Tab race meeting scheduled for today, Saturday 1 June 2019, has been ABANDONED due to the state of the track.
Mareeba racecourse received approximately 10mm of rainfall overnight and a subsequent stewards inspection deemed the track unsuitable for racing. A Betting (phantom) meeting will however be conducted by the club.
The 2019 TAB Battle of the Bush Mareeba Qualifier race scheduled has been added to the Cairns JC TAB meeting on Monday 10 June 2019. The distance of the race will be amended to 1250m with prizemoney and race conditions remaining as was scheduled for Mareeba.
In the case of a ballot being required for this race, preference will be given to those horses which had accepted for the Mareeba race.
Nominations for the Cairns TAB meeting on Monday 10 June close at 11am on Tuesday 4/6/19.
