RACE TWO

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (9) pounced on the pegs from gate 3 over the mile here 2 starts back and once in control was never in danger when scoring a 10m victory. Last start from gate 7 he was forced to retreat, yet was attacking the line strongly. With some solid front-line tempo, he can arrive in this.

KID MONTANA (3) makes his was from North-West NSW and arrives a winner of his past 3 in succession at Tamworth. Wide off the track the last lap over the 1980m trip last start, he packed too much heat in claiming victory. His last 800m was sharp 3 starts back when leading all the way and he will give this a big shake.

BRADNESS ELDEFUEGO (5) worked to the front last start from gate 3 over the mile and looking to take then all the way was worried out of it on the line by STOMPEM. Tough in the breeze 4 starts back, he is right in the fight.

ROYAL LINCOLN (6) found the right type of race last start and despite landing gate 7 was too strong in controlling the race from the breeze. Not far away in his runs leading into that, he won’t be far away here.

RACE THREE

BRADS LUCK (3) will have his 1^st start for the Dixon stable after being transferred by former trainer Bernie Hewitt. Rolling forward to face the breeze last start form gate 4, he was in for the fight when 9m from THE ANNOUNCER. Locked away on the pegs 2 starts back, he strikes a winnable race in his 1^st start for the new stable.

CONDAFEW (1) is on the back-up from Redcliffe on Thursday lands his best gate for some time. He found the line strongly from the 2^nd line when 1^st up and then chased home KID MONTANA at Tamworth 2 starts back. With the perfect trip on offer, he can throw down the challenge.

FEEL THE REIGN (4) rolled forward early last start before receiving running line cover. Finding space to sprint hard and claim a Redcliffe victory 2 starts back, he can fire the early shot here and has claims.

MISSINMEMATE (10) looked to take them all the way last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip, setting a solid tempo in front when collared late. Limiting the work and saved for one shot, he can chime in to the money at value.

RACE FOUR

WATCH PULP FICTION (1) started fav last time out from this same gate over this trip. Looking to take them all the way, he was travelling well through a steady opening 800m. When the power went on, he had no answer for MAJOR CAM, holding on for 2^nd. He can get the right trip here gets his chance.
 
NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (6) was able to put some of the disappointment of the Winter Carnival behind here last week, scoring in impressive fashion. Settling in the pocket trail from gate 8, he took the snipers shot when the shot opened, sprinting sharply up the lane to score. He will be attacking the line hard here.

CHANTREY (2) tried to take them all the way over this trip last week and setting it up for a sizzling closing 800m, was only passed by NORTHVIEW HUSTLER. Finding the pegs, he will be gripping on.

LEOS BEST (4) snagged back from gate 5 last start and once back in the pack was always facing a task against the tempo. A smart winner here 2 starts back, he can settle handy here to chime in.

RACE FIVE

PAY ME INTEREST (8) has been working towards victory in one of these mares qualifiers and just been in search of the right conditions to capitalise. Not suited when doing some early work last start, she attacked the line strongly 2 back when 5m from MELANNA BEACH. With a string of bad gates, if she can hit the passing lane with momentum, she can arrive.

KINETIC KATE (2) is another that has been running some tidy races that have been getting winning reward. From inside the 2^nd line last start she was angled away from the pegs and was attacking the line strongly to grab silver behind CHARLYSE. With the right trip, she can challenge.

IDEAL BLISS (7) has the tough gate to negotiate here, but has been consistent since arriving in Qld. Circling them early to find the breeze from the 2^nd line last start, she was game to hold silver and has place hopes again.

TAYLAH STUDLEIGH (1) has been waiting to land an alley and looks set to get her chance this time around. After an early shot from gate 3 last time, she was forced to restrain prior to probing for gaps.

RACE SIX

OUR OVERANOVA (3) was a winner here 3 starts back when pressing ahead from the 40m tape to take control and from the front fought off the late challengers. Runner-up at each of his past 2 starts, the latest when grinding it out from the breeze when beaten a head, his 1660m mobile record is exemplary and he can add another win here.

EMPIRE BAY (2) aims up for the hat-trick after successive wins over the 2647m trip from the tapes, the latest when overcoming  30 impost. Settling in the running line he worked home strongly to claim a smart win. With a 50% top-3 strike-rate from the mobile, he will be challenging hard in this.

MAYBETOTHEMAX (9) was safely in stride last start and went straight to the front over the long trip. Setting it up for a sprint home he was nailed on the line, beaten a half-neck. With the swoopers shot, he is the knockout chance.

MIRACLE RISING (7) has no favours from the wide gate, yet brings consistent form with a top-3 at his past 5 outings. Freshened since his last start neck 2^nd in the Trotters Marathon, he has podium hopes.

RACE SEVEN

CHARLYSE (1) made the most of conditions last start in winning a mares qualifier over this distance, working home strongly from back in the pack to score. 3 starts back at Redcliffe she found the line nicely when 6m from AQUA MISS and with a sharp sprint when saved, can look to take the snipers shot.

AQUA MISS (6) pressed on to find the front last start from gate 3 and was able to bookend the mile in 27.4 splits, never in danger when scoring by 3m. In good form at present, the return to mares company suits and with the right tempo can throw down the challenge.

ROCKNROLL EMMA (7) shoukd find this a shade easier than what she has been facing and despite the tough gate can feature. Tough in the breeze when 3m from TENNYSON BROMAC last time, don’t discount her chances.

In an open contest MELANNA BEACH (4) who is in search of a hat-trick of victories in mares company can look to apply pressure and BALLERINA COURU (3) who was only grabbed on the line last start, has the early speed to put herself in the race.

RACE EIGHT

With this race the last chance to secure a 2YO QBRED bonus for the season, the 2^nd line runners might just hold the key to this race with BLACKJACK BART (9) looking to go one better after finishing runner-up at his past 2. Grabbed right on the wire 2^nd up, he found the line nicely last start when 3m from the winner.

DUSTY PLAINS (1) started from gate 5 last time out at Redcliffe and settling in the running line worked home soundly behind BOPPIN THE BLUES. A runner-up at Tamworth the start prior after opting for cover after finding the front, she can capitalise on the good gate here.

OCEANSIDE (8) claimed the silver on debut when using the passing lane, grabbed by a swooping GUY LOOKS GOOD. Back to the mile after tackling the longer trip last start, he can be probing for the run.

TARGARYEN HANOVER (10) finally broke the maiden tag here on Tues when finding the front from gate 2 and taking them all the way. With a further 7 placings this season, he will be right in the fight.
