Country Cup 2020

Racing Queensland advises conditions for the 2020 Country Cup.

Eligibility: Open to all grades. Greyhounds must be domiciled north of post code 4570 (Gympie area) prior to 23 October 2019 (3 months). Transfers after 23 October 2019 will not be eligible.

Qualifiers:

Central QLD – Rockhampton (510m)

• Heats Tuesday 31 December 2019
• Final Tuesday 7 January 2020 ($3,675 total prizemoney)
• Nominations close Friday 27 December 2019 at 9.30am

Wide Bay – Bundaberg (550m)

• Heats Monday 6 January 2020
• Final Monday 13 January 2020 ($3,675 total prizemoney)
• Nominations close Thursday 2 January 2020 at 9.30am

North QLD – Townsville (498m)

• Heats Wednesday 8 January 2020
• Final Tuesday 14 January 2020 ($3,675 total prizemoney)
• Nominations close Monday 6 January 2020 at 9.30am

Final: Albion Park (520m) Thursday 23 January 2020.

• First and second place getters from each qualifier progress to final
• Two highest grade third place getters progress to final*
• Lowest grade third place getter first reserve
• Wide Bay fourth place getter second reserve

*Class 6 Sprint Grade for Rockhampton and Townsville. Class 4 Middle Distance Grade for Bundaberg. Novice greyhounds will be considered a lower grade than 5^th Grade greyhounds. In the event of tied grades, average prizemoney per start will be used to determine the finalists.
