As a consequence of the track inspection at Doomben today which resulted in the calling-off of the Brisbane RC race meeting, QRIC stewards have further determined that there is no possibility that the meeting can be rescheduled to tomorrow, Friday 14 February.
RQ had given consideration to the potential rescheduling of the race meeting, however the stewards’ determination that the track will remain unsuitable for racing on irrespective of time factors or an unlikely (significant) change in weather conditions, rendered this possibility unviable.
Cognisant of racing opportunities lost through the Doomben abandonment however, RQ has added the following races to the Brisbane RC program for Wednesday 19 February:
RQ will also adopt an aggressive stance to the potential division of races within SEQ in the next 7 days should acceptance numbers deem it appropriate.
